First Impressions
As I’m coming to expect with Bellroy, the simple packaging opening to a very high quality product is a cool experience. This is the first folio style wallet I’ve bought, so I wasn’t sure what to expect. Upon opening, you’re greeted by two general purpose slots and a magnetic coin holder. Not sure I’d ever use it for coins, but it’s a neat touch.
Build Quality
Quality leather build, zip is heavy duty with a smooth action, no catches or issues. The interior is well designed, the magnetic coin holder is a great feature, and the leather stitched into the inside with the Bellroy logo is a nice touch.
Capacity & Fit
- Card slots: 2 quick-access
- Main storage: 20 cards (10 on each side)
- Cash: 10+ bills easily
- Reality check: 5 cards and some cash fit super comfortably
Daily Carry Experience
I started this whole wallet journey for a vain reason, I had a fancy metal credit card I wanted to keep looking nice. I ended up with a minimalist wallet at the time, but I’m starting to think this folio style was better for that. Everything inside stays protected because it closes completely.
The wallet carries more than I need, so my 5 cards and some cash leave a smaller footprint than someone loading it up. The magnetic coin slot? I’ll never use it for coins, but it acts as a nice barrier between cards and cash.
Here’s the problem: I can’t use this wallet while holding a small child. The zipper kills it for me as a daily driver. My wife, on the other hand, uses this style all the time and I’m pretty sure she just claimed it. Happy early birthday?

Who It's For
If you want a small zip-up wallet that holds more than you need in a relatively small profile, this is a really solid option. If you ever need to use a wallet one-handed, you can certainly try – I’d love to record you doing it for views on TikTok.
Final Verdict
Great wallet for the folio style, which is very new to me. I can’t see it fitting my needs being nearly impossible to use one-handed, but the ability to hold so much in a small profile while keeping everything neat and protected makes it a solid option if you like the style.
